Hi,
Originally we planned to fly from Hong Kong to Thailand and then from Bangkog to Siem Reap. Based on the news from Bangkog, I believe that option is not realistic, even 2 weeks from now. So I would like to explore how I can bypass Thailand and fly from Hong Kong direct to Siem Reap or through Pnom Penh. How do you fly from Pnom Penh to Siem Reap?
I noticed that Pnom Penh is on the flight list of DragonAir (part of Cathay) but I can not get schedules on the web site nor real booking.
Any ideas are welcome!
Hong Kong to Siem Reap
We are using a travel agent in Hong Kong to book a flight to Siem REap from HK on 12/14. We will beflying by Air Vietnam via Pnompenh.
VN791 HKG to HAN
VN716 HAN to REP.
Hope this helps.
Hong Kong to Siem Reap
Hi: I am in the process of getting my daughter to Phnom Pehn and on to Siem Reap now from Hong Kong on Dec 17th. It is a costly venture. I have her flying on United Airlands to HCMC then connecting to Vietnam Airways to Phnom Pehn. We will spend about 3 days there and then fly to Siem Reap. She then flys back to HCMC and catchs a flight back to hong kong
We used Mr. Ann at Global travel to help us arrange flights and such. using this route we saved about 300US If you are in Hong Kong you can go directly to the Vietnam Airline ticket office as the only way to buy tickets on their airline is through an agent. The number for the agent here in the states is 415-666-3355
We are having Global Travel do all of our other arrangements so he helped with this. The only cavet is that there is an overnight layover in HCMC. I was orginally worried about this but if you look for the post about overnight in the airport you can see that this can be avoided. Hope I helped
foiegras,
is your flight direct from hk, and can you give an idea about prices? im trying to arrange the same trip for june or july.
thx.
As I had noted. It is not a direct flight, with
stopover in Hanoi.
The next segment of our booking is from Singapore to HKG (Cathay Pacific Flight 716) total is about 5000HKD, or about 600 USD.
