I%26#39;m trying to book a lower mid range / upper budget hotel in PP for a couple of nights next March (2009).
I%26#39;ve narrowed it down to The Paragon, Indochine 2 or the Ankor International Hotel.
I%26#39;ve stayed in The Paragon before but they are not great with holding rooms and I don%26#39;t arrive until about 6 pm. I don%26#39;t trust them to hold a room for me.
I have had good email replies from Indochine 2 but have just noticed the Indochine on Sisowath Quay.
Has anyone stayed in the Indochine?
How would you rate it compared to Indochine 2?
Does it have a lift?
Thanks
Indochine or Indochine 2 Hotel in Phnom PenhI have stayed in both Indochin hotels , i by far prefer the #2 because it is newer , the staff are friendlier and it always %26#39;Smells nice%26#39; when you walk into the foyer .It is a short way off the river-side with a small market behind where my wife used to eat the local fare .
Indochine or Indochine 2 Hotel in Phnom PenhHave you stayed there recently ODBALL? I have read some nice things about Indochine 2 (that it is very new and clean) but a lot of the reviews were from a year or two ago and I wondered if it was still as nice.
Thanks heaps! :)
I was in the Indochin 2 about a month ago checking for a room for a person i was helping , but they were full . It was the same cheeery staff and smelled as pleasant as when i had stayed there a year earlier . There is no lift , but they carry your luggage upstairs for you .
