Safe/Convenient to travel at night back to Journeys Within?

Hi!

I will be visiting Siem Reap soon and Journeys Within is one of my top choices. However, i am a little worried about the location. Is it safe and convenient to travel back to the hotel at night? Or does location matters alot? Anyone eaten at Journeys Within before? I have heard the food is good. Any ideas what the price range is like? Would appreciate any feedback tremendously. Thanks!

You%26#39;ll need a tuk tuk to get to town and back. A little too far to walk. $2 each way for a tuk tuk, $1 for a motodop. If you%26#39;re going during rainy season the road it sits on gets pretty muddy.

I really don%26#39;t think location matters all that much in Siem Reap, as easy as it is to get transportation. It%26#39;s nice and quiet out there.

The food there is really good; in addition to regular meals, they have a lot of great home made snacks, which is a bonus.

It%26#39;s perfectly safe there and anywhere in the city.

Highly recommend this hotel.

Thanks for the tip! Just to clarify, is the food at Journeys Within expensive? Any idea what the price range like? We wouldnt want to spend so much on transportation in and out just to get decent price food outside. thanks again!

I can%26#39;t specifically remember about pricing on food, but I do recall it was in the same price range as eating in town at a similar type place.
