Can mosquito repellent DEET be bought in siem reap town?

HI,

Does anyone know if mosquito repellent containing DEET can be purchased in Siem Reap itself? I cannot seem to find any in Malaysia. I have heard Mosi-Guard (made from natural ingredients) does not work against the mosquitos in Siem Reap. Any reply is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Yes you can buy it in Siem Reap, but please go to a trusted store. I would suggest the Ucare pharmacy adjacent to pub street (next to the bookstore) or the new Lucky Market.

BTW anything over 30% DEET is overkill; just more poison with no added benefit.
