Hi ,
New in this SR Forum and probably there old threads on this.
Can anyone recommend good, clean and conveniently located hotels in SR?
Will be there for about 4-5 days, since we expect to be out most of the days really don%26#39;t intend to spend too much on hotels. Would need the toom to be clean, comfortable bed and good breakfast etc...
Budget maybe USD 30-50 per night for a twin room?
Thanks and Regards

Another, slightly cheaper, is: angkorhotels.org/Mekong_Angkor_Palace_Guesth鈥?/a>
Both are good.
Hi all
I will fly to SR next Monday, do you think I need to book a room in advance? or just walk-in and deal for the best price? I plan to stay at Victoria Angkor with my family for 3 nites
Thanks for your advice
we are currently in the bopha angkor hotel, great location along the siem reap river, the pool is great its $42 per room.i would recommend booking in advance as a lot of people in town now,we are leaving tomorrow for battambang, spending 2 days on the river so looking forward to this little trip.need to find hotel in battambang,
Is the Bopha Angkor located near the central market or restaurants/ food outlets?
Not very sure about the city centre and layout of SR.
as I see on the map it%26#39;s not too far from the old market/pub street, just across a small bridge

Thanks for all the suggestions.
There are a number of sites offering botel bookings and the rate for same hotel may varies. Any recommendated sites where we can get best rates?
Some tour guides recommended by some forumers also offer hotel bookings, generally is it better to book through them?
Thanks.
just book direct with the hotel, the tuk tuk drivers will steer you onto a place that pays them a huge commission, but at the end of the day you will be paying this in poorer quality hotel or not good value for money hotels,,the bopha angkor is along the river about 5 mins walk to old market and pub street, the central market is about 2 mins walk from the old market
Hi, I am referring to those tour guides whom are recommended by some fellow forumers like Tek or John Teng.....
