I have posted on this one before. Someone else has had his ';brother'; and it was all good. i am hoping that if Soryar is reccomending him he wil be fine.

At the end of they day if he is not you will not use him again and you will post on here.

We are are going inearly July so will post after that

Hi

We have just returned from 7 weeks in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam - we booked Soryar for 3 days and he was just superb. On one of the days, he sent his brother because he was ';busy';. His brother%26#39;s service was good - he had obviously been told what we had already discussed with Soryar in terms of itinerary however his English and background knowledge of the temples were nowhere near as extensive.

You may want to bear this is mind when negotiating a rate because the service Soryar is able to provide is miles above that of most drivers.

thanks for that. We shall have to put some thought into that one and decide whether to wing it when we get there.

I have been offered and booked soryars brother SONY. He is costing us $25US a day with A/C car. We will be back mid june so will also post a review then. Saying that - Soryar has always replied promptly and politely to my emails.

Yes his emails are so lovely. Look forward to reading your posts

We have him booked from July 3 .

Hi,

We just came back from Cambodia and we had Kim Soryar as our tuk tuk driver. He is really a very sweet guy, speaks english very well and knows a lot about the temples (he is not an official guide though) One day, his appointment book got stolen from his tuk tuk and he had to get back to Banteay Srei to look for it so he called his %26#39;brother, to drive us around untill he got back. His name was Yinn and I am not really sure it was his brother because when he got Kim%26#39;s call he told us his %26#39;friend%26#39; would wait for us at the next temple. Yinn was ok, spoke english (not as good as Kim) but didn%26#39;t knew, or at least didn%26#39;t told us anything about the temples except for the temples names.

Enjoy your time in Siem Reap/Angkor, we loved it!

Yes I had thought Soryar might have a few ';brothers';. I gues all we can do is wait and see on the first day. If his ';brother'; is not what we were promised then we can cancel.

Unless someone has another good driver to offer up we may as wlel stick to this one. Soryars emails are so lovely
