Hotel de la Paix -- lack of email responses

We have a reservation with them in a few weeks -- but they really do not respond well to emails, if at all. I know the reservation is confirmed but questions as to airport transfers, etc., just don%26#39;t get answered. The first time I asked a question in September and got no response I put it off to ';everyone has a down day and let%26#39;s face it, we%26#39;re not going till January'; but now it%26#39;s close and I%26#39;m starting to wonder. Reviews are always pretty good for the hotel -- any suggestions ?? I hate to spend the kind of $$ they want in Siem Reap and get so so service -- makes no sense when there are other good choices for less $$.

dont know about email answers what i know is that we made reservations by internet including transfers and tours

were picked up perfectly on time in a nice lexus and everything was absolutely smooth with hotel and services

i loved this hotel hope you keep your booking for us was a perfect experience

if u made reservations thru another website, that company wont forward your name to the hotel until a few days before your scheduled arrival.

i passed by your hotel last week when when i was in siem reap. hotels are plenty (as in plenty!!!) in siem reap in varying price range. your hotel is well-located, about 10 min walk to pubstreet where everything seems to be happening at night. i also considered hotel de la paix but opted for another lower price one. i was happy with where i stayed, no complaints.

regarding airport transfers, you need not worry much if you can%26#39;t get to arrange with the hotel. aside from the fact that it%26#39;s cheaper to get a taxi, you easily get it from a pre-paid taxi counter the moment you step out of the airport. it will be to ur right. or people will also direct you if you ask.

Update: I heard back from the hotel today and also from guest services who have been extremely gracious and helpful. They said they have been having trouble with their email for a few weeks.

All sorted now -- and I am really looking forward to our visit.

Frankly, I don%26#39;t know how hotels keep track of all the guests and guest questions, when you think about it.
