money exchange

Yes you can. You can also put money into a Visa Debit card and with draw it there and it will come out as US Dollars. Some banks in Cambodia charge a $5.00 US fee while others dont so check. NAB have a National Gold Visa Debit card that costs $12 AUD a month but nil fees, because you can get hit twice here and there. You can open it and close it on your return. Worth looking into

thanks for that.i know the cards are a good idea, just have always gone with cash and i feel better dealing with it one on one.not sure why just do.but knowing that you can exchage cash is good to hear.

thankyou

just one thing: exchange only usd, get riel for just a couple of $.

There are lots of money exchangers around who give the going rate of the day , most ATMs have no charge , but check with your home bank because some charge a fee , the only ATM I know of with a charge for use is ANZ , $2.00 per action .

Come and enjoy the happy , friendly people of Cambodia .

thank you very much for all your help.just so many helpful people on here.really does make planning our trip so much easier.

dont bother changing any money into rhiels, you%26#39;ll get more than you need as change from stuff (if the change is less than 1$)
