Hi to all. Visiting PP and SR for the first time in June 2009 Would anyone have comments on our proposed schedule? Fly in to PP fro KL
3 Days PP then river ferry to SR for 3 days Then fly out SR back to KL. (May have to go back to PP for flight out) Looking for reliable Guide/taxi for airport transfer some sightseeing in each place. Any comments would be appreciated.
Phnom Pen / Siem Reap
Looks like a decent plan however I%26#39;d advise 4 days in Siem Reap to get the best of that area. 2 days is plenty to see the sights in Phnom Penh.
Phnom Pen / Siem Reap
I would definitely spend more time in Siem Reap, less in PP.
We just returned and our driver was kimsoryar@yahoo.com. He was excellent and very reasonable. He can arrange just about anything.
SR - 3-4days definitively, but I wouldn%26#39;t short Phnom Penh either. We quite enjoyed ourselves there and the nightlife.
Sounds like a good plan though I would also drop one day in PP and add it to SR.
A 3 day temple pass works out economical and if brought after 5pm you can stay in the park for free that evening to watch sunset over Angkor Wat.
In PP check out the half price happy hour cocktails at Raffles Hotel. 6-8pm nightly.
We flew into PP (visa on arrival is easy) and then flew out of SR back to KL.

Happy %26amp; safe travels
Hey Bob, I was just wondering-
I know that Raffles is a VERY pricey place- how much would a cocktail be at happy hour?
Our sincere thanks to all who have replied to my original idea.
Being a cantankerous old man, I have noted you comments and decided to increase our stay by one day in each place!!!
Well, you know I do tend to try and cram to much in very often, this way, maybe I shall slow down a little and spend a couple of days by the pool.
Please ask if I can be of any help to you. Thank you.
