increase in airfare from HK ??? - help!

Hi,

Would appreciate anybody%26#39;s help:

I%26#39;m looking for round trip tix from Hong Kong to PP - originally was thinking we would travel mid-to-end of June, and the total for 3 adults / 1 kid on DragonAir was about $2000 USD.

Now it%26#39;s looking like we can%26#39;t go until a few weeks later; in checking the same flight for 4 on DragonAir, it%26#39;s now something like $3300 USD.

I tried playing around with dates within the week, etc. but no luck on anything different. Anybody know what gives with this? Is July suddenly considered high season or something? If you have experience with this, would these prices be expected to come down, or is this likely as cheap as it%26#39;ll get?
