three days siem reap ?

hi myself and my girlfriend will be in siem reap for three days in late novemberwhat are the biggies not to miss, ive heard of horse riding in the area to some of the more remote temples but it seems incrediably expensive for the region at 70 dollers for 3 hours, i am also thinking of spendin a nite ot two at kompong thom just to see a less touristy area is it worth is

When you get there, ask your hotel to get you a driver. They all know drivers, and you can also hire a guide if you desire one.You can sit down with the driver and look at a map and see the town on the map and plan your itinerary. A tuk-tuk driver will cost you under $15 per day (unless you are heading to outlying temples for which you will have to pay more for gas and road tolls) and an air-conditioned car about $25 per day, another $25 for an English-speaking guide. If you only have 3 days, it wouldn%26#39;t be worth it (IMO) to spend the 3-4 hours getting up to Khompong Thom. The sights at Angkor are amazing and shouldn%26#39;t be missed.

In the actual town of Siem Reap there are no biggies.

It seems to be a town built on the tourism associated with Angkor Wat.

We didn%26#39;t have any bad experiences in Siem Reap but if you can find lodgings in a more authentic relaxing setting elsewhere then i would reccomend it.
