Phnom Penh Airport

Hi, I will be travelling to Siem Reap in early Dec via Phnom Penh. Unfortunately, I will be in transit for 6 hours at the PP airport. Can anyone suggest an alternative to sitting in the airport for 6 hours? Tx!

In six hours you could already be in Siem Reap, if you were to go by land. You may want to re-think your connecting flight, and just hire a car %26amp; driver or take the bus instead.

If you%26#39;re wedded to the idea of flying, then you might as well get out of the airport and see the city a bit before heading back for your onward flight. You could probably arrange something with one of the tuk-tuks or taxi drivers at the airport -- get them to take you around for 4 hours or so, and then back to the airport at least an hour before your flight to REP.

As per Mal, bus trip to SR is comfortable and you would get to see the countryside.

Alternatively, get a tuk tuk to give you a 4hr tour of PP. Cost should only be US$10-15 for the time.
