Tours leaving HCMC to Phnom Phen - any recommendations?

I%26#39;m looking at getting a 3 day / 2 night package from HCMC to Phnom Phen in March 2009 and have found 3 companies that offer this type of thing, all for around US$50 per person.

One is Sinh Cafe who I have used before and trust.

The other 2 are Tropical Tours and Delta Tours.

Has anyone done this trip recently?

What were the good or bad points about each company?

I did this recently through Tonkin travel - I made sure that I elected to take the fast/ express boat which was an extra $17 US and I think worth every cent. I think after walking the various travel agents in that backpacker area checking out all the options that they were all pretty much the same in terms of what was seen.

Our guide Long was execellent

Be aware that most of the hotels in this price range are pretty basic, so dont expect too much for this price although if that concerns you can explore option of upgrading your hotel.

DO not change any money with the ladies who get onto the boats at the cambodian border - they made moneychangers in other places look like pussy cats ( 2 people got ripped off out of the 6 who used them)

How long was the express boat ride?

I think from memory about 4 hrs - we had been told the other boat would take up to 8 hrs. Boat ride Ok - natural air conditioning ( windows) were good, scenery great - vendors hoped on to sell drinks etc along the way at borders
